6 of my BEST marketing tips

I'm sharing some tips and tricks from my 21 years (ahem) as a LNC. This month, I am sharing my best marketing tips. Ones that have put money in my pocket. I am sharing my best with YOU, my people.
Marketing is relationships. You want to be memorable but in a good way :). Standing out in field of vendors can be tough. So, make it easy on yourself. Use what you know.

1. When giving gifts, keep it simple and easy.
2. I use seasons to guide me.
3. I stick to food items people can hold (no utensils needed).

Here's how I used the first three tips. One summer, I gave popsicles. Not just any popsicles, mind you. There is a gourmet popsicle place near one of my client's offices (of course there is!). The store was new and people were talking about it. I bought a bunch of different flavors and delivered them myself to the client's break room freezer.

I used the next three tips to get the biggest bang for my buck.

4. Prepare. I made a little sign for the break table and the freezer to remind the lawyers and their staff the treats were there and I had brought them :)
5. Maximize your time in front of the client. I used the opportunity to check in with a couple of lawyers and paralegals while I was there.

I've done the same thing with hot chocolate. I stayed away from coffee or tea because well, Starbucks. Once you figure out what it is you'll be gifting,

6. Avoid delivering to clients when everyone else does. Do it randomly. You'll be sure to stand out when you're the only one giving.
